Swift moored at Ocean Pier 37 can be viewed here

she is pencilled in for a move to 51A and a departure to Sea for 23:58 which I think means the actual time has not been confirmed

Irish Ferries sailing updates now explaining the reason for Swift's early withdrawal from service

"From September 8, 2025, Holyhead Port has partially closed again due to further maintenance work on Terminal 3. The impact of this is to limit capacity due to berth availability. Regretfully, Irish Ferries have taken the decision to cancel the Dublin Swift sailings due to the inability to meet the schedule with this limited berth capacity"

20knots

The Swift operated earlier this year (pre Mid-July) when only berth 5 was open.

How is it different this time?

She's Operating with Three of Four Engines Available. The Reduced Speed means she is unable to maintain Scheduled Crossing Times and slot in between Conventional Vessels as before.

Swift left Dublin last night 22:45 and arrived in Barrow in Furness just after 04:00 for winter lay up.

Irish Ferries Freight page on LinkedIn have released the November 2025 Dublin - Cherbourg route timetable with a roster split between the WB Yeats, Isle Of Innisheer and Ulysses

When is WB Yeats going for its refit? I can't make much sense of the November Ireland-France schedule.

5- 22 November WB Yeats on Refit

WB Yeats is on the way to Dunkerque, looks like Ulysses is doing a return trip to France on Friday night alongside the Inisheer on the Ireland France route.

Also WB Yeats has returned to service, cannot find an image but it has been fitted with a breakwater above the upper bow door, one assumes to protect the bridge windows and compensate for the very short front bow area on the vessel.

Isle of Innishfree Drydock extended until the weekend.

Looks like Innisfree has left the dry dock in Dunkerque, now in a different location but has not departed for Rosslare yet.

Innisfree on the move from Dunkerque this evening

Images on link below at end of page show Innisfree out of drydock, one thing is obvious the cow catcher on the bow is still there, secondly they did not go for full repainting job.
