Quote from: scomac on December 24, 2025, 12:13:02 PMSome information about upcoming dry dockings for the Stena Line fleet on the Irish Sea.

The detail is starting to appear on the company's freight timetable and passenger booking engine;

- Stena Nordica will operate Dublin-Holyhead from 07/01 to 27/01 while Stena Estrid is covering for Stena Edda's dry dock on Belfast-Liverpool (Birkenhead) from 08/01 to 26/01.

- Stena Estrid then returns to Holyhead and Stena Nordica is expected to provide cover for both Stena Superfast VII and Stena Superfast VIII from 27/01 for what appears to be about 4 weeks for each ship.

- Then Stena Nordica covers Stena Forwarder from around the end of March to mid-April.

- Finally, Stena Nordica will cover Stena Adventurer from mid-April before returning to Fishguard at the beginning of May.

As already publicised, Ben-My-Chree will cover for Stena Nordica on Rosslare-Fishguard from 07/01 to 03/05.

Stena Nordica is now showing on Stena's freight timetable as operating Belfast-Cairnryan from 27/01 to 29/03.

It seems Bore Song's charter with Stena is finishing. I believe she is expected at in dry dock at Damen Rotterdam next week.

According to Stena's online freight timetable the Dublin - Liverpool route will be maintained by the Stena Hibernia alone until further notice but is is believed Stena Scotia should move to the route once she is replaced by Stena Connecta on the Belfast - Heysham route.

From Stena Line:

"Dear Customer, Please be advised that from Tuesday 13th January 2026, until further notice, Stena Line (Birkenhead) will be operating a ONE-SHIP SERVICE on the Liverpool (Birkenhead) / Dublin route.

REVISED SAILING SCHEDULE
- Dublin to Liverpool (Mon-Sat) 0500hrs
- Liverpool to Dublin (Sun-Fri) 1700hrs

That means nothing. Ferry movements tend to be updated little more than a week at a time. Nothing has been said about how long Estrid will be in dry dock. Edda is actually showing until next Sunday at the moment but everything is subject to change.
