I am wondering how this change of ownership will impact the operations of IF in the years to come? If I understand correctly the debt that the company is now carrying will increase somewhat. Would that effect the future purchases of ships for the group?

The Blackrock investment is equity not debt and will be used to help the company grow.

If ICG wants to expand money will be provided without the stockmarket scrutiny.

Most Investments last 3 to five years and the company could go back on the stock market considerably larger.

IFPete

ICG is a safe bet for Blackrock with a great management team in place.

There are plenty of opportunities to grow the business in Europe and possibly New Zealand.

Looks like the buyout has been successful and a High Court date is set for November seeking an Order sanctioning the scheme with an expected completion date sometime in November 2026.
